Let's start with the good things first or, more accurately, what I enjoyed about these movies. I even got shocked when I finally realized these are sequels to Tim Burton's Batman movies. Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, on the other hand, left me devastated because of the obvious drop in quality compared to their predecessors. While my initial first impressions to Batman and Batman Returns were way too harsh, I warmed up to them after reading through the posts in my previous thread.

These movies are not so good and I'd even go as far as to say Batman & Robin is 'for the love of everything that is good and holy don't watch it' bad. I think it all sums up to 'What the hell were they thinking?'. So, I went ahead and watched Batman Forever (1995) and Batman & Robin (1997) and boy do I have some thoughts about these movies. What started as simple curiosity trying to figure out why people were so fond of Batman (1989) has now evolved into a proper Batman movies marathon like it was always meant to be.
